Ted BWATU

Born in a multicultural environment, Ted Bwatu is highly interested in the issue of unequal relations between North and South and their socio-economic impact. His civic engagement is mainly expressed through poetry and articles of opinion in Flemish newspapers, magazines and blogs. He is also the spokesperson of the citizen movement “Together for Dignity” which organized a rally during the International Migrants Day in 2014, to inform the public of the difficulties migrants and diasporas are still facing. Les Anges Cie

Artists collective from all backgrounds (mainly Africans) gathered around a project initiated by Angel Nawasadio in 1994 in Brussels. Ange Nawassadio is an Author / Composer and Performer trained in the schools of Maurice Béjart (MUDRA in Brussels) and the Harlem ballet (New York), Ange started the concept of “African Soul” (Afro-centric soul), the link between black African-European-American cultures.
